What opening options and locking mechanisms are available for the glass panels?
This article explains how the glass panels can be opened and secured, including available handles, locks, and latch options.
The Glaxior retractable system offers several opening and locking solutions, depending on whether the installation is classified as low or high glazing.
Available opening options include:
- Push‑button opening, mainly used for low glazing installations.
- Lock with key and handles on both sides, typically used for high glazing applications.
- Combination of push‑button and lock options, depending on configuration.
Locking and securing mechanisms include:
- Bottom latches
- Top latches
- Mortise (recessed) latches
- Optional boltless latch bodies
Outward‑opening glazing is possible, but only when using a push‑button handle, and the system allows a maximum of one fixed panel per opening in such configurations.
