# What are the maximum dimensions and technical limits of the Glaxior retractable system?

## This article describes the key technical limitations of the system, including glass size, weight limits, opening angles, and number of panels.

The Glaxior retractable system is designed to accommodate a wide range of configurations while maintaining safety and performance. Key technical limits include:

- **Maximum number of panels:** up to 12 movable panels per opening, plus up to 1 fixed panel on each end.
- **Glass weight limits:** 
    - Normal system: up to **50 kg per panel**
    - Reinforced system: up to **75 kg per panel**
- **Maximum stacked glass weight at one end:** 
    - Normal: **400 kg**
    - Reinforced: **650 kg**
- **Door panel width:** between **280 mm and 1000 mm**
- **Glazing height limits:** 
    - 6 mm glass: up to **2100 mm**
    - 8 mm glass: up to **2500 mm**
    - 10 mm and 12 mm glass: up to **3000 mm** (depending on wind pressure)

The system supports multiple opening angles, with system angles ranging from **80° to 280°**, enabling flexible designs including corner and multi‑side installations.
